    Excellent tv with great perks!

I couple years ago I bought an 86 inch LG LED for my den. It’s an excellent tv with great brightness but the blooming effect and cloudy blacks would irritate me and I regreted not getting an OLED but the cost for the size I wanted was prohibitive. I bought a ps5 pro and wanted to replace my bedroom tv where I’ve been gaming more due to an injury. I am beyond impressed with this Sony OLED!! True black is just so beautiful lol. Watching fire works or any scene where something is bright and the bulk of the screen is dark is amazing! Like light sabers look so good. The only downside is brightness. It’s still plenty bright but my LG looks a touch better on purely very colorful bright scenes like a green tropical jungle but the Sony destroys it with a scene of a city at night and the insane sharpness of the buildings with some windows lit and some off and cars and street lights. The Sony is very easy to change setting to bright scenes it’s just two button pushes. If you have the cash to pay 2k more for the next model up I’d say give it a strong look. If you dont you will still LOVE this tv like i do. If I had to give up one I’d give up my LG even though it’s bigger. Beside the picture there’s a ton of other benefits where Sony destroyed my LG. Having google tv as the operating system is vastly superior to the webos of my LG. Normally I use Amazon fire cube with two echo shows for my sound system. The echo show is pretty impressive just fyi. Using the earc hdmi I could output to my show speakers but sometimes it got wonky. I was a bit more impressed with how google integrated my tv watching. It displays what I’ve watched across multiple streaming services and linked to my movies anywhere account. I’ve stopped using my fire tv cube. I had liked the cube because I could run my xfinity cable through it as well but the Sony tv controls my cable better than the fire cube. I’m impressed with how it controls my other equipment. I decided to go all in on Sony and bought the Sony quad speaker system (amazing!but probably overpriced. Also works with the tv to make it a center channel ), I have a ps5, Sony 4K Blu-ray player (you get better picture than streaming) and Sony wh1000xm5 headset. It’s insane how well these all work together so smoothly. I can use my primary tv remote to easily control everything with no setup needed including videos on my ps5. You can have audio out to both the tv and the headset in case on person needs it louder. If you take your headset off it pauses your show. When playing video games it knows and gives you special gaming options for picture control and other neat features. Tbh some of the hype about the gaming options and "knowing what your watching to make better picture" is a little meh but my lg had similar claims that were also hype. However you’ll easily pick you’re preferred mode it’s stupid easy to change. It does however know if your watching Dolby vision and give you real different options that are impactful. It doesn’t have hdr10 for some reason which is a bummer but the pros out weigh the con. Other con is only 2 hdmi 2.1 ports but they have the cool gaming features which you have to turn on in the setting but the other 2 hdmi ports still give you Dolby vision etc so only needed for gaming. If you get the Sony quad you get an extra hdmi 2.1 for your ps5. I have both ps5 and xbox X. I love seeing in the settings that I get the full advantage of ever benefit. I believe the ps5 on this Sony dosent do the 1444 or whatever that is but I’ve also heard it does so if that’s important to you look into more. Spider-Man 2 on this tv with the pro looks stupid good!!! Another cool thing is the tv feet have 4 different placements. narrow and wide with 2 different height settings you’d be surprised how nice that is. Makes it easy to slide things like a soundbar or dvd player under the tv. The remote control is kinda ugly with some odd button placements and no back light but it has lots of good options and controls my equipment including cable box well. Ive had Samsung, tcl, and lg but I think moving forward im going Sony very impressed

Stunning Picture Quality and Immersive Experience

I recently purchased the Sony 77-inch TV, and it has completely transformed my viewing experience. The picture quality is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and incredible clarity that makes every scene come alive. The OLED display truly delivers an unmatched cinematic experience. The size is perfect for a home theater setup, and the Dolby Vision and HDR support make movies and shows look spectacular. Gaming on this TV is next-level, with smooth performance and vivid graphics thanks to the high refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 compatibility. The sound quality is also impressive, and the built-in features like Google TV integration and voice control make it incredibly easy to use. Setup was simple, and the sleek, minimal design adds a touch of elegance to my living room. If you're looking for a premium large-screen TV with exceptional quality, the Sony 77-inch is worth every penny. Highly recommended!
